ipo means initial public offering.

There are many reasons why companies bring their ipo.

1.  in some cases they want to expand their services. 
2. another reason is may be they have lack of funds etc.

so because of these reasons Investors or Promoters sell their shares. and this is called ipo.

does ipo make you millionaire over night?

No, This is not true. The ipo's will not make you millionaire overnight. It will give you enough money but not lots of money.

should you invest in ipo?

Definitely you should invest in ipo. Because it gives enough money in short period . and  return on invest is good.

What is precautions that you should take before investing in ipo?

• You should always search about company whose ipo you are going to buy.
• You should check out last 3 to 5 years detail. like spending , profit , lose etc.
• You should also check the valuation of company.
• You should also check the future Plans/Goal of company.
